The main resolutions from the Communist Party’s 58th Congress last November have now been published as the outcome and the will of the highest democratic body of our Party; along with a foreword from our new General Secretary, Comrade Alex Gordon, and the Congress address from his predecessor, Comrade Robert Griffiths.

All comrades should take pride in the policy and strategy which has been produced as a result of an extensive period of comradely discussion and debate. But now the real work starts.
It is our task to put this strategy into practice and make it a reality.
Our priority now must be to build a united front against monopoly capitalism, war and austerity, not in words, but in deeds – and to build our Party into the force history requires us to be in the process.
There are no shortcuts in this. It requires hard work at every level of our organisation and from each and every comrade.
Read and study the resolutions individually and in your branches and take them and the politics and strategy they contain out into the movement.
