The Communist Party is urging left, labour movement, progressive and community organizations to unite and prepare to resist the inevitable ruling-class offensive to make the working class pay the cost of the emergency anti-COVID measures that are currently quadrupling British government borrowing on the capitalist bond markets. By building this mass movement along with the trade unions and the People’s Assembly, we will also create the basis for going on the offensive and bringing down this reactionary, anti-people, anti-working class regime we have in Britain at the moment.
